I know we dont write too much along with our posts, and this one wont be too different. But I feel this is more than just a collection of images that we’re proud to share … they are the embodiment of how I want someone’s special day to ensue. They are a reflection of us spending the entire day with a group of people and putting everything we have into it to create an authentic documentation of not just how it looked, but how it felt to be there.
Allison and Jonny are our friends that started out as my brother’s friends. We really only saw each other about once a year for the past 5 years (halloween), but still felt we knew them really well. And they have seen my brothers wedding photos as well as others and knew our style well, so it was a perfect fit. That, and they took us along with them for a beautiful spring weekend in San Francisco to document a wedding reminiscent of an incredibly special one. Ours. The girls made the flowers the morning of, the boys shared a few beers in the room, an intimate group of close friends and family joined them for an impromptu ceremony at the park, and everyone ate an amazing meal in a small restaurant.
Thank you Alli and Jonny for giving us the opportunity to experiment with our craft, enjoy ourselves immensely, and relive our own nuptials vicariously through you. We hope we captured some of the spirit of the day here for you.
