We made it to shakespeare and company yesterday. One of my favorite places in the whole city, not only because its the best (and english primarily) book store Ive ever seen, but also because it occupies a charming niche next to rue de petit pont … the quiet corner with a view on the notre dame across the river that barely welcomes the echoing haunt of the thousand restaurants from the nearby latin quarter. Plus its spring, so the flowers are blooming and adding a lovely visual touch.
Since we’re both shooting film it’ll be tough to share until we get back, but I guess I can always photograph leanne’s polaroids.
