I feel like we stepped back into time with this one. Vilija and Shea met at a lithuanian church and knew from the start they were going to bring into their wedding many of the historic customs of lithuanian culture. Two of the most gentle people we’ve ever met, both imbued with striking, yet sublimely classic features, prepared themselves in the deco rooms of the Georgian in Santa Monica, tied the knot in the stunning hall of St Monica’s ‘cathedral’ (lets call it what it is), and partied through the night at the elegant, but lively Rancho Del Cielo in Malibu. This was a beautiful day to capture.
leanne was telling me vilija looked like a woman fit for a tamara de lempika painting, so it was only appropriate to see one in the lobby on our way to the limo
heart = melted!
the traditional cake or, sakotis is to the left. it translates to ‘tree with many branches.’ and tastes kinda like a waffle. awesome.
